Lenne is a classically-trained actor who has worked all over the US on stage & screen and in voiceover. She grew up in San Francisco and Minneapolis, receiving her MFA in Acting at the University of Washington. Lenne's current passions include writing her own play, finishing her second album, and collaborating on new play development. 

Most recent credits: Multiple developmental workshops of Anna Deavere Smith's new play Love All about Bille Jean King, several episodic podcasts including Koz on Audible (starring Taylor Kitsch and Kate Mara) and If I Go Missing The Witches Did It on Realm (starring Gabby Sidibe), and currently playing Greta in Murder on the Orient Express at Cincinnati Playhouse. She can also be heard as the voice of Visible® on their national TV/Radio ad campaign.

Other credits: Dawn in the Broadway production of the hit musical Waitress directed by Diane Paulus, and originated the role for the 1st National Tour. 

Kris in Will Eno's The Underlying Chris at Second Stage off-Broadway, directed by Kenny Leon. 

Hamlet in Hamlet at Colorado Shakespeare Festival (nominated for a Henry Award - Best Actress), which was profiled by the New York Times and American Theatre. Fingersmith at A.R.T. (dir. Bill Rauch), Tartuffe at Shakespeare Theatre DC/Berkeley Rep/South Coast Rep, an all-female Two Gentlemen Of Verona at the Jungle, Juliet in Romeo & Juliet and Appoggiatura both at Denver Center, Anna in Anna Karenina at Capital Stage, and Elinor in Sense and Sensibility at Sacramento Theatre Company. Other theatres include A Noise Within, St. Louis Rep, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Intiman Theatre, and Theatre Movement Bazaar.

She helped compose original music with John Glover for a production of Hamlet and she toured the country with her mentors, Robyn Hunt and Steve Pearson, performing Flight, based on the first female aviators.

 

Film/TV credits: "FBI: Most Wanted", "Chicago Med", “Cold Case”, “TWENTIES” (pilot by Lena Waithe and Justin Simien), Love: As You Like It, The Exchange, A Night in the Sunlight, and various 5 Second Films which have been featured on the front page of Funny or Die. She starred in “Welcome to Sanditon”, created by the two-time Emmy-winning team Pemberley Digital, which was an IAWTV Awards nominee for Best Interactive Series, and was featured in “O” magazine.
